Chemical reference materials

Reference materials (RM) are used to check the quality of analyses. Results can be plotted on a control card, so analysts can see whether quality is adequately assured.

Process
Once the report has been published for a successful chemical proficiency study (food and non-food), all remaining materials are then made available as reference materials. Then these materials can be ordered. As soon as the order is verified along with your information, the materials will be shipped. Some materials may be shipped on dry ice, if necessary. The reference materials are accompanied by a certificate, which provides the property values and all the relevant information. Most of the reference materials have a one-year shelf life from the date of availability.
