What is GLP?
GLP is a quality system covering the organisational process and the conditions under which non-clinical safety and environmental studies are planned, performed, monitored, recorded, reported and archived.
The purpose of GLP is:
- To promote the development of quality test data
- To foster mutual acceptance of test data
- To avoid duplicative testing
- To avoid the creation of technical trade barriers
- To improve the protection of human health and environment.
