Pest Record Finding of Anoplophora chinensis
Finding of one adult of Anoplophora chinensis in a private garden. Following the notification of 12 July 2010 of the detection of one female adult and 2 exit holes of A.chinensis on 9 July, the National Reference Laboratory confirmed the identity of another adult of A.chinensis on 26 July 2010. It concerned a male specimen and it was reported on 23 July by the owner of another private garden in ‘Hoofddorp’, within 70 meter of the garden where two exit holes were detected in an Acer palmatum tree as notified on 12 July (figure 1). It is most likely that this second adult had emerged from the same tree.
